Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Quality Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in budgeting, cost estimation, and contract administration, ideally from government projects. Responsibilities include monitoring costs, preparing valuations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is required, along with excellent time management and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related qualifications with experiences in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial aspects of construction projects, ensure completed within the allocated budget.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to estimate costs involved in construction activities.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with the budget, track expenses, review invoices.
  • Administer contracts between client, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with terms.
  • Assess the progress of work, prepare interim valuations, determine value of work completed.
