Job description

Project Officer / Senior Officer, Import & Export Bills – Operations

• Support Operations projects with a primary focus on Import & Export Bills (IEB), including requirements analysis, process optimization, system enhancement, and transformation initiatives.

• Coordinate and execute UAT and system testing; act as key liaison with Head Office and IT.

• Work closely with BAU teams to understand end-to-end operational and system workflows.

• Investigate and resolve system issues arising from daily operations.

• Serve as backup for IEB BAU functions, including end-to-end processing of trade finance and remittance transactions (e.g. MEPS, SWIFT).

• Ensure accurate processing, documentation, accounting entries, and timely follow-up of all trade finance transactions.

• Prepare daily, monthly, MAS, and ad-hoc reports.

• Maintain operational manuals, records, and SWIFT message handling.

• Support loan administration (corporate, syndication, bilateral, FD-backed loans), treasury settlements, clearing, and customer internet banking processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above.

• At least 3 years’ experience in trade finance operations covering L/Cs, guarantees, collections, invoice financing, bill discounting, and forfeiting.

• Strong experience in operations projects and system testing.

• Familiar with SWIFT and MEPS+.

• Meticulous, responsible, and able to work independently.

• Good communication skills; maturity and professionalism required.
