Job summary

A leading utilities group company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from pre-sales to customer acceptance. You will manage project objectives, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance with customer requirements. With at least 5 years of experience, strong communication, and project management skills are essential. Knowledge in sustainability or renewable energy projects is a plus. This role requires working hours from 08.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from pre-sales to customer acceptance.

• Formulate reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing multiple projects from pre‑sales to customer acceptance. This includes the supervision, direction, and motivation of the project team during planning, design, installation, start‑up, commissioning and handover phases.

Job Duties

• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
• Work with internal and external parties to plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with assigned projects.
• Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track schedule progress and update schedule regularly.
• Develop project budget based on the estimate/proposal including the budget breakdown by task and appropriate tracking units and develop cost codes for tasks/units.
• Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on‑site personnel to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate the requisition of products and materials to complete project.
• Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.
• Negotiate and approve subcontract scope changes in accordance with all customer contract requirements i.e., the main contract conditions which flow through the subcontract.
• Perform regular quality audit for all the suppliers and sub‑contractors.
• Maintain open communication with the customer and discuss potential future projects.
• Ensure that all work completed is filed and invoiced.
• Follow‑up on payment from customers and verify payment to our suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience handling projects involving multiple teams is an advantage.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to maintain consistency and standards across project deliverables.
• Experience with sustainability, renewable energy, or related projects is a plus.
