Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary communication bridge between external customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-border delivery teams
• Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of customer organizations, including senior management, department heads, and operational teams
• Manage the full project lifecycle for financial initiatives across loan processing, trading systems, digital channels, and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with remote full-function large-scale development team (e.g., China, Malaysia, India or regional centers)
• Manage and coach an onsite team of BAs, SAs, TLs, QA testers, and coordinate with offshore development centers
• Ensure smooth business-IT alignment through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live support
• Drive project governance including status reporting, risk mitigation, change management, and escalation handling

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in project management within banking or financial services
• Proven track record managing multiple project domains, such as:
• Retail or corporate loan systems
• Global trading platforms
• Mobile or digital banking
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence diverse customer stakeholders, including both business and technical users
• Travelling within Asia region

Skills & Tools:

• Familiar with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid models)
• Strong in stakeholder engagement, issue/risk tracking, project documentation
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, Excel, and presentation tools
• Business analysis knowledge (requirement gathering, business process mapping) is a strong advantage

Certifications (preferred):

• PRINCE2 or PMP, Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe) certification
