Job Summary:
The Project Executive is responsible for supporting the Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business goals. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to assist in running the project smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
- Assist the Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Supervise and support employees, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve team performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Resolve conflicts and handle employee concerns professionally.
Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist customers with inquiries, purchases, and service requests.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere for both customers and employees.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
- Identify operational issues and work with the Manager to develop solutions.
- Make quick and effective decisions in the absence of the Manager.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Min. 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of business operations and customer service principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in heavy industry and port industry.
- Familiarity with scheduling software, MS Office, and business management tools.
- Certifications related to leadership, management, or industry-specific skills.
