About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer (Network Infrastructure Delivery / Support) to be part of the clients core network infrastructure support team, providing oversight on deployment work and ongoing operations support. You will work closely with end users, vendors, and technical teams to ensure timely and secure delivery of network solutions while maintaining high operational standards and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the deployment and delivery of core network infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with end users and vendor delivery teams to ensure deployments meet requirements within agreed timelines.
• Work with operations and support (O&S) teams to conduct fault analysis, problem resolution, and patch updates, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Perform risk assessment, implementation validation, and configuration reviews for network changes.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, configuration records, and best practices.
• Ensure all work complies with security policies, standards, and governance guidelines.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network solution design, planning, risk assessment, implementation, and validation.
• Strong technical knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, and TCP/IP networking.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and vendor coordination, with the ability to communicate progress and drive issue resolution.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL are preferred.
• Prior experience working in defence or government environments requiring security clearance will be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A resourceful, proactive, and independent team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
