Project Engineer (M&E)
Overview
Project Engineer (M&E) responsibilities and expectations as listed below.
Responsibilities
- To manage a team of supervisors, workers, subcontractors and vendors to execute works within given time frame.
- To resolve site issues with supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors and/or related third parties.
- To co-ordinate site works, workflows and inspections with main contractors site representatives including attending site-co-ordination meetings.
- To plan, implement and monitor weekly works activities with a team of supervisors in accordance to the master schedule.
- To monitor work progresses, productivity, qualities and materials usages and ensure those items meet the targeted schedule, productivity, qualities and within quantities.
- To enforce and monitor all supervisors, workers and subcontractors abide to safety, health and environment rules and regulations. To prepare shop drawings, AS-Built drawings and Materials Bill of Quantities required for the project.
- To keep track, monitor and ensure timely submission of all shop drawings, materials and AS-BUILT drawings.
- To co-ordinate with main contractors and third parties on Combined Services Drawing (CSD) and resolve any clashes prior to construction.
- Attendance for All Tools Box meetings and all Safety meetings.
- To implement Testing & Commissioning plan.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in related trades with 3 years experiences.
- Those with more years of experiences will be considered for senior position.
- Building Construction Safety Supervisor course and any other WSH related certificates.
- Candidates with some MEP design experiences will be added advantages.
- Must be a team player, perseverance, diligent, integrity and initiatives.
