Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage daily operations and oversee project actions. The ideal applicant should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and be skilled in managing teams and projects. Responsibilities include ensuring quality workmanship, interacting with teams, and addressing customer complaints. Candidates must be innovative and possess strong communication skills. A valid Class 2 or 3 driving license is required.

Responsibilities

Responsiblefor the daily operations of the company;

  • Plan,supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules;
  • Meetcriteria on design, budget, timeline, quality, safety and environmentalrequirements established for each project;
  • Ensurequality workmanship and documentation throughout the whole projectprocess;
  • Attendsinternal and/or external meetings relating to the respective projects;
  • Co-ordinateand interact with the project team, customers, consultants andsub-contractors;
  • To supportSales and Service Teams with Technical Drawings and calculations as percustomers’ requirements;
  • Develop workinstructions for inspection and testing activities;
  • Prepare& update project status by collecting, analysing, and summarizing theinformation gathered;
  • Responsiblefor updating on technical information/documentation;
  • Responsiblefor supervision and allocation of jobs onsite;
  • Capableofhandling situational problems, looking into customer’s complaints andinitiating corrective actions;
  • Ensuredeficiencies such as customer complaints are resolved on time and propercorrective and preventive actions are taken;
  • Identify andproviding training for Supervisors and operations team;
  • Lead andmotivate a team of Supervisors and operations personnel;
  • Maintainssafe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules andregulations;
  • Ensure all documentationof records are up to date and filed accordingly;
  • Any otherduties assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
  • BachelorDegree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or equivalentpreferred;
  • Minimum 2years (in aggregate) of practical experience, with the crane system orconstruction site related experience would be an advantage;
  • Must bedynamic, innovative, meticulous with positive working attitude, stronginterpersonal and communication skills;
  • Team playerand yet independent;
  • Able tomulti-task and move around different project sites within the day;
  • With a validClass 2 or 3 driving licenses.
