Job summary

An engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee schedules, budgets, and compliance for HVAC projects. Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules and budgets
• Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Execute projects with minimal supervision within budget & schedule
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the projects
• Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
• Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, method statements, client updates and attend meetings
• Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Manage sub-contractor and ensure work compliance with specifications
• Identify issues and escalate to Project Management well ahead of time
• Ensure project documents are complete and stored appropriately
• Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures
• Responsible for working safely and meeting the EHS regulations on site

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Specialist qualification in refrigeration and air-conditioning and Energy Management will be an added advantage
• At least 3 years of Project Experience preferably in the field of energy management or construction
• Well versed with HVAC systems and knowledge on HVAC(ACMV) controls and Start- Delta and Auto Transformer starters
• Experience in managing & liaising with Sub-Contractors, Client and internal teams
• Experience in delivering project for industrial MNC clients is added benefit
• Design knowledge of piping and ducting according to ASHRAE Standards will be an advantage
• Knowledge on selecting the equipment such as Pumps, AHU, Chillers, Fans will be added advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office and MS Projects
• Independent and self-starter with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Possess positive mindset and eagerness to learn
• Possess attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel as needed
