Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee site activities and ensure construction progress aligns with project schedules. The ideal candidate will have a PEB recognized Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with design plans, managing project budgets, and liaising with clients and subcontractors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee site activities to ensure construction progress aligns with project schedules and specifications.
  • Interpret and review construction drawings, ensuring compliance with design plans and standards.
  • Monitor workmanship and materials to meet regulatory and project quality requirements.
  • Enforce workplace health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and necessary documentation per ISO standards.
  • Identify and address construction challenges, providing timely solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Any other duties assigned by the company from time to time.
Job Requirements:
  • PEB recognised Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
