Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress
• Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as drawings, reports, permits, and contractsTrack project timelines, materials delivery, manpower, and costsAttend site meetings and record minutes of meeting
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and regulatory requirements
• Handle progress claims, variation orders, and payment tracking
• Monitor work quality and report any issues or delays
• Liaise with consultants, clients, suppliers, and government authorities
• Support project handover, inspections, and defect rectification works
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and site coordination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Familiar with local construction regulations and safety standards is an advantage
• Proficient in Mandarin and English to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
