Job description
Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly in-house meetings with production teams and site meetings with customers or consultants regarding project work‑in‑progress (including site measurements and reconcile against production drawing).
  • Oversee and lead project team consisting of welders, electricians, fabricators and installers to perform and deliver all projects on time (hoist and crane structure, crane girder, site erection on runway, welding crane rail and crane girder on any other structural works).
  • Administrative functions in respect of contractual and technical matters.
  • Monitor progress of work and write project reports in English.
  • Ensure workplace and site safety.
  • Coordinating installation, testing and commissioning of lifting equipment at various stages of project.
  • Provide weekly and monthly progress reports and communicate the information to related party in sale department on time and effectively.
  • Control overtime schedule for erection / installation team.
  • On top of your core duties, you are required to assist with multi tasks as and when assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a technical cert in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Candidate with safety certifications preferred (Eg: WSH Level B, Work‑At‑Height course, Lifting Supervisor Safety course).
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
  • Fabrication & welding knowledge or project management skill is an advantage.
  • Ability to multi‑task, posses solid organizational skills and excellent time‑management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.
  • Must possess a class 3 driving license / own car (transport allowance provided if using own car).
