Job summary

A construction firm based in Singapore is looking for a Project Coordinator to oversee progress on various construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a diploma in Civil Engineering, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driving license. Responsibilities include coordinating work across different sites, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role requires strong project management and communication skills to navigate complex site dynamics effectively.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry and/or equipment installation.
  • Must possess a driving or motorbike license.
  • Certification in Supervise Construction Work for WSH and Work at the Height is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure progress of term contract and construction projects are in line with schedules.
  • Coordinate manpower across various sites.
  • Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors, and customers.
  • Supervise installation works by contractors.
  • Ensure good housekeeping onsite.

Project Coordinator
  • To ensure progress of term contract and construction projects are in line with schedules
  • To coordinate and organize work and manpower across various sites
  • To liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and customers
  • To ensure site supervisor carry out the work correctly, efficiently and safely
  • To attend client meetings and provide daily summary to management
  • To check quality of work on site
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements
  • Must possess driving or motorbike license
  • Good experience in project management and scheduling
  • Good technical knowledge in construction
  • Must be adaptable to working at various job site
  • Multi-trade understanding
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant/equivalent field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction industry and/or equipment installation
  • Applicants should have certification in Supervise Construction Work for WSH (formerly known as BCSS), Work at the Height
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Good team player and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive new projects from Sales team
  • Attend site survey/visit with contractors
  • Prepare project documentation (MOS, RA, SWP, permits…)
  • Coordinate deliveries to site
  • Coordinate site activities with contractors and engineers
  • Supervise installation works by contractors
  • Maintain safe working environment onsite
  • Ensure good housekeeping onsite
  • Manage and track installation schedule
  • Communicate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth project implementation
