Motivate and encourage members to actively participate in centre programmes and activities.
Support outreach efforts to attract and engage new members.
Assist with home visits and community health screenings for seniors.
Coordinate volunteer screening and support volunteer development and retention.
Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers and grassroots organisations.
Facilitate befriender-befriendee matching and track programme effectiveness through regular feedback and surveys.
Assist in planning and conducting volunteer training sessions (e.g. communication skills, dementia awareness, mental health, chronic disease knowledge).
Organise monthly or quarterly volunteer meetings for peer sharing and continuous learning.
Assist in planning and running wellness programmes and outreach activities that promote seniors' independence and ageing in place.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of centre and items, which includes cleaning in the event of cleaner absences.
Provide coverage for programmes in the absence of trainers.
Support festive events, outings, and other ad-hoc activities.
Participate in team meetings and general operations as needed.
Support member registration, attendance tracking, and safe-entry screening.
Handle walk-in enquiries and assist with volunteer, befriendee, and home visit records.
Activate resources to support seniors' physical, mental, and social well-being.
Engage with seniors and community partners to strengthen networks.
Collect activity feedback and assist with evaluations.
Provide administrative support including enquiries, scheduling, liaison with caregivers and external parties, and front desk duties.
Handle invoicing, fee collection, banking, report submissions, and proper documentation for audits.
Assist in reporting to MOH and other agencies to meet service requirements.
GCE ‘O' levels preferably with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
Experience in healthcare settings is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Computer savvy and able to learn fast.
