Job summary

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary

Primary task is to assist with conducting or leading active ageing programmes. Additionally, to provide befriending and outreach services. Lastly, work closely with Managers on implementing all services needed to achieve centre’s performance indicators.

Job Description
  • Conduct outreach to AAC members at least 3 times each within the FY.
  • Encourage AAC members to participate in active ageing programmes.
  • Organise and conduct exercise sessions at least 2 times per week. Each session should be between 30 to 45 minutes in duration.
  • Assist with conducting active ageing programmes within and outside the centre.
  • Conduct community outreach and relevant need assessments to elderly within designated service boundary.
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties such as attendance taking, visitation notes, and other data or statistics collection as required by the authorities.
  • Perform tasks needed to facilitate effective centre operations.
  • Perform any duties as assigned by the reporting / centre manager.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma Holder.
  • Prior experience as a physical fitness instructor is preferred.
  • Experience in eldercare, healthcare or social service is preferred.
  • Able to speak various languages required engage seniors who are 60 yrs old and above.
