Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer in Singapore is looking for a Production Shift Technician to provide operating support in the process unit at Jurong Island. This role involves a variety of operational tasks including plant troubleshooting, routine sampling, and mechanical preparations. Ideal candidates will hold a diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology and possess good communication skills. Willingness to work on rotating shifts is essential. This position offers a valuable opportunity for both experienced and inexperienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift.
• Candidates with no prior experience will be considered.

Jobscope:

• Provide operating support in the assigned process unit in DCS panel and/or field position.
• Handle daily operational tasks and participate in plant troubleshooting.
• Perform field logging, routine sampling and plant testing work.
• Prepare process equipment for mechanical work accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Working Instructions (WI)
• Carry out loading/unloading and raw material charging activities.
• Operate utility and process plant.
• High awareness of job safety and housekeeping.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology.
• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous.
• Good team player; maintain good communication skills with peers and supervisors.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift.
