An established food production company is seeking a Production Manager to oversee its manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team to optimize efficiency. Job Summary:
The Production Manager oversees all aspects of production operations to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, on time, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This role involves managing people, processes, and resources to meet business objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and control production schedules and workflows to meet demand.
  • Monitor production costs, wastage, and efficiency to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations (e.g., SFA, NEA, HACCP).
  • Oversee quality control processes, including raw material inspection, in-process monitoring, and final product checks.
  • Manage and develop the production team, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Liaise with procurement, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Maintain accurate production records and analyze data for process optimization.
  • Drive process improvements, SOP updates, and equipment maintenance programs.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Production Management, Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or food production management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
