Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Production Engineer to manage and supervise factory fabrication activities. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering and 0-2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with teams for project execution. The role offers training for new entrants.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with QA/QC processes and industry standards.

  • Uphold safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity.

Job description

Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm/ Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm (5.5 days)
Salary: Up to $4,500


Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise factory fabrication activities for skid systems and piping works.
  • Prepare and monitor production schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Oversee quality control processes, including material checks, dimensional verification, welding inspections, torque testing, and final product validation.
  • Ensure products meet required quality standards before shipment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to support smooth project execution.
  • Handle material requisitions based on Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure timely supply.
  • Uphold safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and factory performance.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience in production or fabrication. (on job training will be provided)
  • Familiar with QA/QC processes and industry standards.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
