A leading medical device manufacturing company is seeking a Production Assembly Operator II (Lead Tip) in Singapore. The role requires independent execution of production processes and active participation in quality control. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience as a Process Technician, familiarity with clean room environments, and will be responsible for training new hires. A professional education and lean manufacturing experience are preferred in this full-time position.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a clean room environment is advantageous.
  • Experience in a production environment and inspection tasks is preferable.
  • Experience as a Process Technician for at least 3 years with outstanding performance.
  • Certified as a trainer by the process owner.

Responsibilities

  • Follow valid guidelines and instructions for process execution.
  • Notify supervisor of any observed discrepancies in processes and quality.
  • Maintain correct documentation and highlight issues to supervisors.
  • Participate actively in the KAIZEN process to minimize waste.

Production Assembly Operator II (Lead Tip)

Process Technician II is responsible for executing the production processes in a production cell able to independently execute those tasks and actively involved in achieving the production objectives. To do this they also need to actively follow the established Kaizen processes and the corresponding Working Instructions. Process Technician II is trained on multiple processes and has successfully completed cross training within the same cell or to other cells. Process technician II is also required to sampling check for new hires who are under stage 2 during trainer absent.

Process Technician II is measured by achieving the given objectives in terms of quality, quantity and according to the deadlines. This enables the organization to meet cost quality and delivery targets. If required Process Technician II will assist with the completion of incident / accident investigations at the time of event aspiring to elimination of root cause and support risk assessments.

Your Responsibilities
  • Follows the currently valid guidelines (e.g. working instructions process descriptions hygiene rules environmental protection guidelines cGMP clear table policies)
  • Independent execution of different process steps and surveillance of process execution according to written working instructions according to the training level of the employee
  • Notifies the supervisor of any observed discrepancies (process and quality discrepancies, security breaches, outdated calibration data deviations in the documentation)
  • Maintains a correct and conform documentation (e.g. when completing move tickets or inspection protocols)
  • Highlights any issues immediately to the supervisor or the HR department
  • Participates actively in the KAIZEN process (e.g. minimize waste)
  • Contributes to a positive working culture
  • If needed performs individual tasks defined by the supervisor which in their nature belong to the work responsibility of an operator and/or are a necessity to achieve organizational performance
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the physical location.
  • Perform sampling check for new hires who are under stage 2 training during trainer absent
  • Able to train new hires on production processes (Trainer only)
Your Profile
  • Completed professional education preferred
  • Experience working in a clean room environment will be advantageous.
  • Experience of working in a production environment previous execution of inspection tasks or machine handling is preferable
  • Experience of working as Process Technician for at least 3 years with outstanding performance
  • Certified as trainer by process owner (Trainer)
