Job Summary
You will monitor and analyse daily order data to proactively prevent stock shortages and optimise supply chain efficiency. Collaborate closely with Commercial and Production teams to translate demand forecasts into accurate production plans, driving strategic decisions through data insights and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily orders to identify and resolve potential stock shortages before they impact operations
- Consolidate demand and supply forecasts, including special promotional requests, to ensure accurate planning
- Translate consolidated forecast data into precise Goods Requests for the Production Team to execute timely production
- Provide immediate alternative product recommendations to the Commercial Team when primary stock risks out-of-stock (OOS) status
- Generate timely market insights on trends, price fluctuations, and supply shortages using tools like Jet Reports to support decision-making
- Analyse data trends to inform senior management’s strategic planning and risk mitigation efforts
- Maintain 100% accuracy in system setups and data entries to preserve database integrity and reporting reliability
- Facilitate regular information-sharing sessions between Commercial and Production teams to align priorities and improve collaboration
- Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting data discrepancies and reporting errors to ensure data accuracy and operational continuity
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance supply chain efficiency and order management accuracy
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficiency in Jet Reports, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central (or similar ERP systems), and Advanced Excel to analyse and report complex data sets
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable production plans that align with business needs
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and balance priorities between Sales and Production teams
- High attention to detail with a “right-first-time” approach to data setup and reporting accuracy
- Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions during market volatility, such as sudden shortages or price fluctuations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as Demand Planner, Inventory Controller, or Supply Chain Executive
- Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industries is highly preferred
- A proactive mindset focused on pre-empting issues rather than reacting to them

- Work Time Profile: 5.5-day work week (Hybrid)
- Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 5.00PM, Saturday 9.00AM to 1.00PM
