• Conduct new products IP/device/layout analysis to evaluate production risk.
• Develop customer products and UMC self IP robustness to ensure qualification.
• Set up FA methodology of new products and control failure analysis cycle time.
• Manage customer products and improve yield to meet requirements.
• Investigate low yield root causes using various analytical methods.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct New products IP/Device/layout analysis to evaluate production risk
• Customer products and UMC self IP robustness development to make sure product level qualification pass.
• Set up FA methodology of new production products, failure analysis cycle time control to speed up production progress.
• Manage customer products and Improve yield to meet customer requirement.
• Investigate product low yield root cause by CP program debug, datalog analysis, CP/WAT/in line correlation analysis, FA, reliability assessment and co-work with FAB to resolve the problem in time.

You’ll play a hands-on role in building foundational technologies that power everyday innovation, from smart devices to sustainable solutions.

We’re looking for someone with

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Optoelectronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor/foundry environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical thinking with effective communication and time management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership through school projects, competitions, or similar experiences is advantageous.
• Willingness to work shift hours as required.
