Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to drive SLT test regression infrastructure and resolve complex firmware/software issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in X86 architecture, GPU architecture, and SoC design, along with proficiency in various programming languages. Qualifications

• 5-8 years relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge and working experience in X86 architecture, GPU architecture, SoC design, and power management features.
• Proficient with analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other debugging tools.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong and effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop SLT test regression infrastructure for Firmware/Software releases.
• Surface complex firmware/software issues and drive resolution.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis for production issues closure.
• Influences significant technical decisions impacting the final product.
• Develop new debug techniques for enhanced technical depth.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accountable to drive and develop SLT test regression infrastructure to test weekly Firmware / Software releases before integration to SLT Test Program
• Pre-emptively surface complex, novel, and non-recurring firmware / software issues and drive to resolution to improve SLT Test Program quality and integration time
• Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis to drive closure of production issues
• Influences technical decisions that have a significant impact on final product
• Develop and apply new debug techniques to enhance technical depth in Product and Test Engineering
• May provide technical supervision or mentoring junior engineers

Upscale overall team capabilities on low level system debug for client data center product families

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 5-8 years relevenant industry experience
• Strong knowledge and working experience on X86 architecture, GPU architecture, SoC design and power management features
• Experience and with a good understanding of post silicon electrical and mixed signal circuitries
• Familiar with using analyzers and oscilloscopes, and other debug tools
• Experience with data center infrastructure is a plus
• Strong and effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with geographically distributed product engineering teams
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Software programming and scripting proficiency (C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, Java, Python)
• Proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems
• Working hours: Shifts working hours (night/weekend)
