Location: Bugis

Duration: 6 months contract (Paternity cover with possibility of 6 months extension)

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

Salary: Up to $4100

Job Responsibilities: The Procurement Analyst will be primarily responsible for the administration of contracts, the analysis of contractual obligations as well as the associated coordination, tracking and control of contracts, drafting basic SOW’s and for assisting with the negotiation of contracts terms and conditions. The Procurement Analyst will assist the operating divisions and support services departments in sourcing goods and services and managing vendors, developing excellent relationships with key suppliers. The role will perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and source cost effective and quality suppliers.

Procurement Strategy
  • Supports the procurement strategies, propose initiatives and work with business stakeholders such as aggregation or cost reduction opportunities
  • Constantly explore process improvements and improve efficiency of the processes.
Procurement Management
  • Supports the Senior Procurement Manager in managing the contracts from the quotation stage to final purchase contract.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the IB’s procurement policies, processes and templates including RFQ (Request for Quotation) and RFP (Request for Proposal)
  • Manages the RFQ and RFP procurement activities
  • Ensure all POs are sent out in accordance to the Procurement Policy
  • Maintains and provides data to perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Assesses, manages and mitigates risks
  • Seeks and partners with reliable vendors and suppliers
Contract Management
  • Performs detailed reviews of purchase orders, quotations, and tender terms and conditions against checklist of acceptable contract elements to identify and mitigate commercial & legal risks.
  • Flags incomplete areas and notifies responsible parties of open action items; compares new agreements to existing agreements for consistency when appropriate;
  • Obtains approvals from appropriate individuals/ business partners for non-standard contract terms;
  • Leads the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions by categories, including editing and/or proposing language to mitigate business risks;
  • Ensure Contract Management process is adhered to;
  • Contracts are signed by approvers on a timely basis with summary details of the contract including commercial, legal (inputs from Legal Dept.) and respective stakeholders.
  • Database of contracts are up to date and accurate
