A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Process Engineer responsible for designing industrial process utilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and preparing tender documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, strong knowledge of process design, and experience with BOQ extraction for tender preparation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of process design principles and methodologies.
• Experience in extracting BOQ from layout and P&ID drawings for tender preparation.
• Experience in attending technical clarification meetings and presentations.
• Strong knowledge of process utilities design (Chilled Water, Steam, Process Cooling Water, and CDA systems).
• Proficient in pipe sizing, stress analysis, pump head, and hydraulic calculations.
• Familiarity with proposal costing and tendering processes in EPC projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to propose alternative technical solutions.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Initial design and engineering for industrial process utilities.
• Perform calculations for flow rates, pump sizing, temperature, and pressure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including projects, construction, and engineering.
• Extract BOQ from layout and P&ID drawings and input pricing for tender preparation.
• Prepare tender presentations and documentation.
• Support tender clarification and contracts.
