Job Description
The ProcessEngineer is responsible for developing, sustaining, and improving semiconductorand advanced materials manufacturing processes to meet customer and businessrequirements in quality, yield, cost, and cycle time.
Key Responsibilities
- Sustain and continuouslyimprove manufacturing processes through planning, evaluation,verification, and execution to meet customer specifications for quality,yield, reliability, and cycle time.
- Investigate processdeviations and implement interim and long-term corrective and preventiveactions to ensure stable production.
- Support new productintroduction and process development involving mould design, metalinfiltration, heat treatment waterjet cutting, PVD, plating andmetallurgical processes, including setup and optimization of processrecipes.
- Perform processcharacterization, qualification, and validation activities to ensurerepeatable and robust manufacturing performance.
- Monitor process performanceusing statistical process control (SPC) and analyze data to identifytrends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare, maintain, andupdate process documentation, work instructions, and control plans; reviewand update process FMEA as required.
- Provide technical trainingand guidance to technicians and operators to ensure compliance withprocess requirements and quality standards.
- Lead or participate in costreduction, yield improvement, and quality improvement projects.
- Collaborate with internalteams and customers on process, material, and equipment capabilitydevelopment and improvement.
- Support audits, customertechnical reviews, and production ramp-up activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree inEngineering (Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Physics, or related field).
- Relevant experience insemiconductor, advanced materials, or precision manufacturingenvironments.
- Knowledge of processcontrol methodologies such as SPC, root cause analysis, and processqualification.
- Experience with thin-filmdeposition (PVD), plating, or related advanced manufacturing processes ispreferred.
- Ability to workcross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Japanese-speakingcapability is an added advantage for coordinationwith Japanese customers and suppliers.
