A global private markets firm seeks an Analyst for its Private Equity Investment Team in Singapore. The role involves sector-focused research, due diligence on private companies, and financial analysis. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Strong quantitative and interpersonal skills are essential. The position offers opportunities for growth and requires flexibility, as well as travel approximately 5 days a month throughout Asia.

StepStone builds this exposure through its commingled funds, customized funds, separately managed accounts, and investment advisory assignments.
StepStone is currently seeking candidates with excellent quantitative, qualitative and interpersonal skills for an Analyst position on StepStone’s Private Equity Investment Team in the Firm’s Beijing or Singapore office. The Analyst’s primary role is to engage in sector-focused research on various areas of the private equity industry such as venture capital, growth, buyout and distressed strategies in Asia. In addition, the Analyst will work in a team environment with other investment team members to target and perform due diligence on selected private companies and private equity funds; analyze PPMs, financial statements and investment returns; and conduct reference calls and personal interviews. The Analyst will have the opportunity to present recommendations, with the investment team, to the Firm’s Investment Committee.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of private equity, investment banking, consulting, or other relevant experience. The Analyst will adhere to the highest ethical standards, as well as demonstrate maturity, reliability, and attentiveness to detail.
