Primary School Tutor (PSLE Main Tutor) – Tuition Centre

📍Location: TutorJohn Learning Centre – Choa Chu Kang / Tampines
💼Position: Full-Time Primary Tutor (PSLE Main Tutor)
💰Salary: $3,000 – $4,500/month (Based on Experience + Performance Bonuses)
🗓Work Days: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend
🕒Hours:
• Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM / 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Your Key Responsibilities:

• ✅Deliver High-Quality PSLE Lessons
  • Conduct up to 3 Primary classes/day, focusing on P4–P6 levels
  • Teach using centre’s curriculum aligned with the latest MOE syllabus
  • Prepare engaging, structured, and exam-focused lessons
• ✅Drive Student Performance
  • Track progress, identify learning gaps, and implement targeted strategies
  • Conduct revision classes, mock tests, and exam preparation sessions
  • Communicate effectively with parents on student performance
• ✅Curriculum & Lesson Planning
  • Refine teaching materials to improve clarity and effectiveness
  • Provide feedback for continual enhancement of PSLE curriculum
• ✅Centre Operations
  • Assist in day-to-day centre duties including scheduling and coordination
  • Support in maintaining a conducive and organised learning environment

Who We're Looking For:

• ✔ Diploma or Degree holders (Education or related fields an advantage)
• ✔ Strong mastery of Primary-level English / Math / Science (choose based on subject focus)
• ✔ Experience teaching Upper Primary or PSLE preferred (but not mandatory)
• ✔ Familiar with MOE syllabus and exam requirements
• ✔ Passionate about helping students excel academically
• ✔ Strong communication and classroom management skills
• ✔ Able to commit until end of academic year
