Job summary

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Provide therapy services as required by the Econ Healthcare group of companies (ie. Homes and Centres).
• Carry out assessment on residents as part of the admission assessment and conduct regular routine assessment on in-house residents who may require physiotherapy or rehabilitation service.
• Recommend appropriate physio or rehab programme for residents.
• Keep good records of all services performed and submit weekly case reports to the Centres / Homes / Hospital manager. A monthly consolidated report of workload statistics and other concerns to do with service standards would be required to be submitted to the Manager.
• Oversee the administration of the physiotherapy office, station, equipment and all relevant facilities. To report any faults to the manager. Ensure proper documentation and billing for residents.
• Coordinate and work closely with the centre / home / ward staff nurse for the conduct of physio or rehab programme for residents.
• Ensure the best interest of residents is being looked after at all times.
• To actively promote the physiotherapy services to both in-house residents and prospective clients.
• Be responsible for the improvement of day-to-day operations and to make suggestion to the usage of such physiotherapy facilities at the Centres / Homes Hospital.
• Provide training for therapy and non-therapy staff whenever required. Supervise staff assisting in the implementation of therapy programmes when necessary.
• To perform home services or services at other designated locations besides Centres / Homes / Hospital as and when assigned.
• Perform such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and fully registered with AHPC, Singapore.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in a healthcare environment.
• Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures, maintaining a high level of quality service.
• Self-motivated to keep up-to-date with advances in the field of physiotherapy.
• Have an interest in neuro and geriatrics rehabilitation preferred.
• Applicants must be willing to travel across Singapore.
