Overview

Physiotherapist - Community Rehabilitation Programme (CRP) for home therapy settings. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working with adults with complex rehabilitation needs, such as neurological, musculoskeletal/orthopaedic, or psychogeriatric conditions.

Responsibilities – Clinical duties
  • Carry out assessment and treatment for all clients referred to home therapy.
  • Work out and implement the individual care plan and treatment goals for the clients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review clients' progress with other team members.
  • Link clients to appropriate community resources.
Responsibilities – Other professional duties
  • Participate in or lead projects, for example, development of new services for patients or collaborative projects with partner organisations.
  • May conduct/participate clinical research or service evaluation studies.
  • Supervise/ train Therapy Assistants (TAs), students, volunteers and caregivers helping in relevant areas.
Leadership and growth

In addition, senior staff can be expected to take on leadership roles, drive improvements, service developments as well as supervise junior staff, or provide clinical supervision for undergraduate PT/OT/medical/nursing students attached to the service.

Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy recognized by Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Full Registration with AHPC.
