Roles & Responsibilities
Clinic Assistant / Phlebotomist
Job Description
  • Performing health care assistant duties and procedures such as taking appointments, registration, billing, and collection of payment for services rendered, and arranging follow‑up / referral appointments.
  • Performing clinical parameters such as temperature, BP, height & weight, resting ECG, Urea breath tests, medication dispensing, liaising and handling laboratory specimen collection or ordering laboratory consumables when required.
  • Perform Nasopharyngeal swab for patients whenever required.
  • Perform Phlebotomy (blood taking) for patients whenever required.
  • Explain and introduce health screening packages to patients / corporate clients and tailor appropriate screening programs based on clinical indications, patients’ expectations, and cost.
  • Collate and compile results, arrange follow‑up reviews and appointments for patients where appropriate.
  • Assist in processing claims for insurance (TPA) / Medisave and CHAS.
  • Participate in clinic housekeeping, including vacuuming and mopping floors, and wiping down all high‑touch surfaces.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.
  • Experienced in a private GP clinic setting.
  • Able to draw patient’s blood samples.
  • Working hours: Mon‑Fri 8:30 am – 5:30 pm / Sat 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
