PET/CT Radiographer

Salary: SGD 6,000 - 7,000

Our client is a healthcare organization with a network of private specialist providers across various medical disciplines, offering diagnostic imaging and health screening services. They are seeking a PET/CT Radiographer to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out PET/CT scans in accordance with established clinical protocols and physician directions.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and reassurance.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed, adhering strictly to safety standards and dosage requirements.
  • Operate PET/CT systems efficiently and ensure they are functioning at optimal performance levels.
  • Perform routine quality assurance checks to maintain imaging accuracy, reliability, and safety.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues promptly to the relevant technical personnel.
  • Observe radiation protection practices to safeguard patients, colleagues, and oneself from unnecessary exposure.
  • Comply with regulatory standards related to infection control and the safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with confidentiality and audit requirements.
  • Work alongside radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to support the review and delivery of imaging results.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and refinement of PET/CT imaging protocols.
  • Manage stock levels of radiopharmaceuticals and consumables to ensure smooth operational readiness.
  • Prepare and submit precise billing, coding, and procedural documentation for completed examinations.
