Job summary

A human resource consultancy is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a 2-year contract in Singapore. The role requires processing payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining payroll records. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The position offers a salary of up to $3,400 plus performance bonus, with dedicated working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Job description

2‑year contract (renewable based on performance and headcount needs). 8:30am‑6:00pm. Up to $3,400 + PB. Shenton.

Responsibilities
  • Process end‑to‑end payroll for a headcount of 500 or more, including salary pro‑ration for new hires and resignations, monthly CPF submission, refunds, National Service and Government Paid Leave claims, employee transport/dental claim processing, bank detail accuracy, bank file submission, payroll GL to finance for reconciliation, filing of IR21 for foreigner resignations and annual IR8A.
  • Coordinate with HR business partners to retrieve data and inputs necessary for relevant pay elements.
  • Investigate and report payroll system data inaccuracies, recommend improvements and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain secured archival of payroll files to support annual and ad‑hoc audit exercises.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in response to employee and client queries via email, achieving a positive customer experience.

Requirements
  • Minimum ‘A’ Levels or Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of end‑to‑end payroll and/or claims processing experience, preferably with SAP, SuccessFactors or Excelity systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, minimally Intermediate level
