Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Payroll Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll processing, employee records management, and compliance with statutory requirements. You will assist in preparing payroll data and respond to employee inquiries. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or Business studies. This position requires the ability to start within a short notice period. An attractive remuneration package will be offered.

Job description
Key Responsibilities

Payroll Processing

  • Assist in preparing and processing monthly payroll for employees.

  • Input and verify payroll data such as attendance, overtime, shift allowances, claims, and deductions.

  • Check timesheets, leave records, and supporting documents for accuracy.

  • Support generation of payroll reports for management.

Employee Records & Data Management

  • Update and maintain employee information in the HR/payroll system.

  • Ensure accuracy of personal and salary-related data.

  • File and organise payroll documents securely in line with data protection policies.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Assist with statutory submissions such as CPF, IRAS, levies, and other mandatory contributions.

  • Support preparation of annual income statements (IR8A, Appendix 8A/8B).

  • Ensure payroll practices comply with MOM regulations and company policies.

Employee Support

  • Respond to employee enquiries on salary, payslips, CPF matters, and claims.

  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and external vendors when needed.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare letters such as salary verification, adjustment letters, or contract addons.

  • Support audit checks, monthly reconciliations, and payroll-related admin tasks.

Requirements
