To provide financial counselling for patients/next-of-kins at the assigned unit – Emergency Department, Wards or Admission Office – in compliance with the Private Hospitals & Medical Clinics (PHMC) Act/Regulations. This includes informing patients/next-of-kins regarding the different ward class charges, their bill estimates and the possible payment methods.
To perform upgrade/downgrade requests and explain ward charges differences for patients/next-of-kins requesting to upgrade/downgrade between private and subsidised wards so as to ensure government subsidies are utilised appropriately
