Job Description

• Manage and maintain the organisation's IP and trademark portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Prepare, file, and monitor trademark applications and renewals in multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct trademark searches and provide reports to assist in risk assessments.
• Coordinate with external counsel and other stakeholders on IP-related matters.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements related to IP and trademarks.
• Maintain accurate records and databases for the legal department.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team as required.
• Stay updated on IP and trademark laws to ensure the organisation's compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Paralegal IP, Trademarks should have:

• Diploma or degree in Law, IP, or a related field.
• Ability to read and converse in mandarin to liaise with stakeholders in China who converse in Mandarin.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IP management or legal support roles, either in-house or in a law firm.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage both structured legal processes and day-to-day admin responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related digital tools; familiarity with DocuSign is advantageous.
• Comfortable working independently and adapting quickly to established processes.
