Job description
Overview

You will be involved in various aspects of school operations such as maintenance of school facilities, coordination with vendors for infrastructure/ facilities improvement and maintenance works, as well as implementation of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

You will also work with Vice-Principal (Administration) and Administration Manager to manage infrastructure-related budget and evaluate infrastructure-related project proposals.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of school facilities and coordination with vendors for infrastructure/facilities improvement and maintenance works
  • Implementation of safety protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Collaborate with Vice-Principal (Administration) and Administration Manager to manage infrastructure-related budget
  • Evaluate infrastructure-related project proposals
Requirements
  • A dynamic and motivated individual with good organisational, managerial, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferably has experience in facility or estate management, logistics, safety and emergency planning
  • Certification as a Fire Safety Manager, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) would be an advantage (to submit certificate where applicable)
  • Diploma or Degree preferably in Facility or Estate Management, or a related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facility or estate management, preferably in an educational or public sector environment
  • Proven experience in budget planning and procurement process
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal staff of all levels, external vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Experience in supervising support staff and managing service contracts is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing operational needs
