About Modern Hippi
Modern Hippi is a fast-growing specialty coffee brand blending convenience, premium craftsmanship, and mindful living. As we expand across supermarkets, B2B partners, and online channels, we require a reliable and hands‑on Part‑Time Operations Manager to ensure smooth day‑to‑day execution.
About the Role
This is a part‑time operational role for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, can manage fulfillment end‑to‑end, drive B2B deliveries using their own car, and confidently represent Modern Hippi at sampling booths and pop‑up activations.
You will ensure daily operations run efficiently while supporting brand activities on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations & Fulfillment (Part‑Time Scope)
- Handle daily pick, pack, and labelling of online orders.
- Prepare inventory, packing materials, and documentation for fulfillment.
- Maintain accuracy and quality in all outgoing orders.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Monitor stock levels and storage conditions.
- Track expiry dates, restock items, and organize warehouse materials.
- Prepare packing lists and ensure materials are replenished on time.
3. B2B Deliveries & Account Servicing (Own Car Required)
- Deliver B2B orders to supermarkets, cafés, hotels, and restaurants twice per week.
- Use your own car for deliveries; Modern Hippi will provide a fuel allowance.
- Maintain positive relationships with B2B partners and ensure timely, accurate fulfilment.
- Introduce Modern Hippi products to potential new B2B partners and support onboarding.
4. Sampling, Pop‑Ups & Brand Activation
- Set up and operate Modern Hippi sampling booths and brand pop‑ups.
- Prepare coffee samples (acting as a barista) and engage customers with product knowledge.
- Work every Saturday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at supermarket booths or partner pop‑ups.
- Support hiring and coordinating temporary staff for sampling activities.
5. Operational Support & Coordination
- Assist with logistics planning, booth setup, and event operations.
- Support the Director and internal teams with operational tasks as needed.
- Improve processes and recommend operational efficiencies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in operations, logistics, F&B, retail execution, or fulfillment preferred.
- Must possess a valid driving license and own a car for deliveries.
- Physically able to manage operational tasks (moving cartons, setting up booths).
- Strong organization, communication, and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable engaging with customers and performing barista‑style sampling.
- Must be available every Saturday (10 AM – 5 PM).
- High reliability, initiative, and pride in execution.
