Company Overview
Our client is a reputable maritime logistics company specializing in dry bulk shipping services. With a fleet of owned vessels, they focus on delivering reliable and efficient transportation solutions across global markets. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking an Operation Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Person-In-Charge (PIC) for daily vessel operations of 6-7 tonnage vessels.
• Provide guidance and assistance to vessel operators on routine operations and post-fixture issues.
• Monitor vessel positions, voyage performance, and adherence to charterer instructions in line with Owners’ Charter Party (CP).
• Prepare and review hire statements, liaising with technical managers on hire deductions and operational matters.
• Maintain and update all necessary records, files, and documentation required by the operations team.
• Manage CP updates, addendums, and voyage reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Understand Bills of Lading (BL) and Letter of Indemnity (LOI) procedures.
• Settle invoices with managers and charterers efficiently.
• Coordinate EU-ETS/Fuel EU communications, guiding vessel operators on compliance and regulations.
• Support internal teams and external partners to uphold operational excellence.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in maritime or related fields.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with dry bulk carriers, preferably with ship owners or operators.
• Proficiency in IMOS system and a solid understanding of charter party agreements.
• Basic knowledge of insurance claims and handling with charterers.
• Proven leadership skills to manage and develop a team.
