Job description

Lighthouse Canton is a global investment institution offering wealth and asset management services. Led by an experienced senior management team, we work with clients across geographies from our Singapore, London, Dubai, and India offices.

We are currently looking for a Finance-trained, experienced professional to take on the Operations Head role for our Family Office business unit. The role will oversee the full spectrum of Accounting, Finance, and Operations functions for the family office, including managing accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
(1) Finance Operations
  • Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage regulatory filings and reporting obligations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Execute accounting and finance tasks, including investment analysis, transaction recording, payment processing, invoicing, and other related responsibilities.
(2) Budgeting and Reporting
  • Maintain budgetary control and prepare detailed investment reports for the family office.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage banking relationships, treasury operations, and liquidity management effectively.
(3) Process and Product Knowledge
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the organization’s products, services, and processes to enhance financial accuracy and reporting relevance.
(4) Stakeholder Management
  • Deliver high-quality client service to internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to management and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, custodians, and professional advisors.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel, tax advisors, and other professional service providers as necessary.
(5) Team Support and Collaboration
  • Support senior finance team members with various projects and ad hoc tasks, contributing to overall team efficiency and objectives.
Key Requirements
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Experience in an investment company or family office is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CFA are highly desirable.
  • Qualifications such as CMFAS – RES3 and CMFAS – CM-EIP are preferred.
Skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
  • Assertive, confident, and capable of managing responsibilities independently.
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with senior stakeholders.
