Overview

Industry/ Organization Type: Transportation/Logistics

Position Title: Operations Executive / Customer Service Executive – Air Freight

Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre

Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday: 1.00PM – 9PM) (Saturday – half day, on remote standby)

Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $2800 + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the complete life cycle of air freight shipments, from origin to final destination, ensuring on-time performance.
  • Act as the primary liaison, coordinating effectively with airlines, freight forwarders, and ground handling teams to guarantee seamless movement and timely delivery of goods.
  • Provide proactive and responsive customer service, quickly addressing client inquiries and effectively resolving any shipment-related issues or delays.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all shipment records and documentation, including arranging necessary customs paperwork and creating Air Waybills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and propose improvements to enhance overall service quality.
  • Support projects and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in logistics, air freight operations, or customer service.
  • Prior knowledge of air freight documentation, systems, and standard operating procedures is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
