We are hiring an Operations Control & Warehouse Readiness Coordinator to ensure warehouse operations, equipment readiness, and crew scheduling are carried out in a structured, rule‑based, and predictable manner.
This role focuses on coordination, verification, and control, not physical warehouse work or event execution.
You will assign tasks, verify completion, control crew and driver work hours, and release or block jobs based on defined operational rules.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Task Coordination
- Assign warehouse tasks to execution staff (e.g. equipment movement, packing, tidying)
- Set clear task scope and completion timelines
- Monitor progress and flag delays early
- Ensure warehouse areas remain orderly and ready for operations
Equipment Readiness Verification
- Verify that required equipment checks and packing have been completed by execution staff
- Confirm completion through checklists or system records
- Enforce equipment readiness states: AVAILABLE, PREPPING, ON RENT, QUARANTINED
- Block release of equipment that is not verified as ready
- Enforce quarantine for faulty or incomplete items
Crew & Driver Scheduling
- Assign crew and driver start and end times using predefined shift templates
- Ensure compliance with legal working hour and rest requirements
- Lock schedules once confirmed
- Prevent informal or unauthorised schedule changes
Scheduling Enforcement (Simple Jobs)
- Apply standard scheduling templates for simple delivery and setup jobs
- Ensure simple jobs do not require project manager involvement
- Escalate when job scope exceeds predefined “simple job” rules
Operational Control & Escalation
- Enforce SOPs and checklists consistently
- Maintain accurate inventory and scheduling data
- Reject verbal overrides and informal exceptions
- Escalate risks early instead of resolving issues at the last minute
Requirements
Experience
- Experience in logistics coordination, warehouse operations, scheduling, or operations control
- Experience in event logistics or equipment rental operations is an advantage
Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with rules, checklists, and structured processes
- Able to enforce procedures consistently
- Calm under pressure and able to block work when requirements are not met
- Organised, methodical, and process‑driven

Working Hours
- Standard full‑time hours
