Job summary

A logistics recruitment firm in Singapore seeks a Logistics Support role to perform tasks including scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate should have a minimum diploma with at least 1 year of containment shipment experience, demonstrate diligence and accuracy, and be comfortable using Excel. This position provides an opportunity to work closely with sales personnel and logistics teams.

Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in containment shipment experience (both import and export).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of diligence and accuracy in accomplishing tasks.

Job Description
  • Perform logistics support task, work closely with sales personnel & counter-part logistics team to achieve department goal & target
  • Work together with logistics counter party on order and shipping document processing.
  • Assist in scheduling and shipment coordination with customers, suppliers and forwarders for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Liaise with customer & forwarder to ensure timely delivery/collection of goods from warehouse.
  • Check draft shipping document from supplier, forwarder (B/L, Form D, E, etc..) & prepare shipping documentation (such as invoice, packing list, DO, etc) to customers. Ensure all orders areprocessed and dispatch correctly and timely
  • Managing inventory level and ensure products availability for delivery/shipment
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock audits (quarterly or yearly)
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities, inventory movements and order status update
  • Prepare regular reports on delivery schedules, inventory report and shipment progress for internal teams and management
  • Ensure that all shipping documentation is properly filled, accessible and compliant with company policies.
  • Assist with payment due date reminder to customer and ensure timely payment from customer
  • Ensure timely payment arrangement to 3rd party such as suppliers, forwarders, etc
  • Assist sales personnel as customer service support & other ad hoc task when require
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum Diploma Holder with 1 year’ experience in containment shipment experience (both import and export)
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • A high degree of diligence and accuracy in accomplishing tasks, with a strong focus on thoroughness in all areas of work
  • Comfortable using Excel in daily work.
  • Knowledge Letter of Credit
