Responsibilities
- Advise on matters related to Operational Risk Management.
- Conduct Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and Operational Risk Exposure (ORE) evaluations.
- Review, update, and maintain documentation for policies and procedures across Operational Risk Management, Fraud Management, and New Product Management.
- Collaborate with various departments to report operational risk events, identify root causes, and develop suitable mitigation plans.
- Lead and oversee Outsourcing Risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the organization’s risk policies.
- Analyze operational risks associated with new products, providing support during the New Product Approval process, and act as the Secretariat of the New Product Committee.
- Assist in achieving business continuity objectives by facilitating regular Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and documenting recovery strategies across departments.
- Conduct independent checks on transaction activities and records for private banking to detect any unusual or suspicious behaviors.
- Manage bank-wide Policies and Procedures (P&P), ensuring timely updates and publication in the P&P system.
- Initiate and facilitate Business User Access Reviews, maintain Business System Listings, and serve as System Administrator for designated systems.
- Prepare operational risk reports and presentation materials for the Risk Management Committee, senior management, and regulatory bodies.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
- Recognized bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in Business, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a financial institution.
- Strong enthusiasm for learning and a professional approach to work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines on risk management and familiarity with KRI, RCSA, and ORE practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
