Overview

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an Online Mandarin language teacher to provide customized online lessons to these clients.

What We Offer

You will have an active and independent role as a language teacher.

Once onboarded, you'll have access to the teachers' platform and receive offers. With the assistance of your Talent Success Coach, you can accept the classes that match your schedule and preferences. You have complete control over your lessons, and we don’t require a minimum number of hours weekly or monthly.

Position Details

• Students: Individual class for a lady
• Preferred Start Date: ASAP
• Availability: Weekday mornings (Singapore time)
• Lesson Frequency: 5 classes a week
• Lesson Duration: 1–2-hour sessions for each
• Preferred Platform: MS Teams would be preferred
• Language Needs and Goals: "I’m eager to learn more about the differences between Mandarin and Singapore Mandarin, as well as how cultural influences impact language changes."

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners towards learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• A degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
• A minimum of two years of teaching Mandarin experience
