Job Scope of Officer – Accounts
  • Preparation of complex Regulatory Returns within the deadlines (MAS 610/ MAS 649 fortnight, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually reports along with various surveys.
  • Daily computation of regulatory ratios / requirement like AMR/MLA/MCB/ACU/DBU.
  • Timely preparation of quarterly closing returns along with handling complete Audit exercise (Quarterly as well as annually).
  • Statements for Head Office and RBI reporting.
  • Reconciliation/Dealing Backup & treasury operations reporting.
  • Maintenance of office records / Property maintenance records along with all furniture details.
  • Processing of salary and various claims. Maintaining of staff records, payment of salary, bonus etc., to staff, proper maintenance of leave records, issuance of itemized pay slips, providing good working conditions, providing safety to staff.
  • Working in HRMS system.
  • Onboarding of new vendors along with raising tender and payments for Singapore as well as Vietnam Centre.
  • Calculation of Estimated Chargeable income, filing tax returns and arranging for funds for payment of income tax as per the agreed terms with IRAS.
  • Preparation, modification and updating of policies as per latest MAS guidelines.
  • Submission of various surveys conducted by MAS, MOM and other Govt. departments.
  • Performing Customer Due Diligence (CDD). To perform due diligence on Corporate/Retail Customer (High/Medium/Low risk as per the frequency & allocated number of customers. To perform Audit of due diligence performed by Relationship Officer for Retail Customer.
  • To follow-up for documents/related paper pertaining to CDD.
  • Review of Outsourced Service Providers related to document warehouse.
  • Scanning machines are kept in working conditions. Documents to be scanned of various departments are collected in some predefined manner and are stored properly. Only authorized persons are given access to these documents. Scanned documents are stored / saved properly and backups are taken at fixed intervals.
  • Maintaining proper access & control system for documents.
  • Updation of latest Regulatory & local guidelines while performing various tasks.
  • Adequate care of the premises and furniture and fixtures is taken. Various charges including rent to be paid to the Building Management are paid in time. The properties are insured adequately. Renewal of lease deed.
