NPI - Assistant QA Engineer

East Side | New Product | 5 days work

• Office Location: Loyang, Singapore
• Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 5.30pm,
• Monthly Salary: Basic up to $3000 + AWS + Variable Bonus (VB)
• Employment Type: Full time, Permanent Contract

Responsibility

• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by overseeing product quality from testing and sample builds through to mass production.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and compile data into First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).
• Collaborate with program managers on NPI builds and engineering evaluations.
• Conduct training for QC inspectors prior to the handover of NPI projects to production.
• Validate equipment, processes, and test methods to ensure qualification standards are met.
• Review and update quality documentation such as Work Instructions, Potential Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, and Inspection Standards; support jig design reviews with the engineering team.

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma or degree in Precision, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management and/or any equivalent engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in quality engineering or in manufacturing
• Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, CPK, Minitab and Gage R&R (Repeatability & Reproducibility)
• Proficient in understanding engineering drawings with knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively.
• Candidate who can start immediately or within short notice will be preferred
