Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate with a strong background in stakeholder engagement and business development. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience and a solid understanding of the internationalisation needs of Singapore businesses. Responsibilities include overseeing business opportunities in Korea and Japan, organising trade fairs, and conducting market research. Proficiency in English and bilingual skills in Japanese or Korean are highly regarded. This role may require travel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, advisory services, or event planning.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore businesses' internationalisation needs.
  • Experience with government agencies or NGOs preferred.
  • Solid business acumen and knowledge of economic and political trends.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and business associations.
  • Oversee business development and project facilitation.
  • Organise trade fairs and business missions.
  • Assist in strategic planning and managing annual workplan.
  • Conduct market research and provide strategic reports.
  • Facilitate advisory services for Singapore companies.
  • Coordinate bilateral business committee meetings.
