About the Role

We are looking for a Network Support Engineer to provide operations support and maintenance for secure network infrastructure. You will manage incidents, perform troubleshooting, and ensure network systems operate efficiently while complying with security standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily operations support for network infrastructure and connectivity.
  • Manage and track incidents through to resolution while maintaining adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
  • Conduct fault analysis, perform configuration updates, and optimize network performance.
  • Maintain and update documentation, configuration records, and operational best practices.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal security policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
  • 23 years of experience in networking or infrastructure support.
  • Working knowledge of RESTful API principles, HTTP methods, JSON handling, and regular expressions.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and resolve network issues independently.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux (Red Hat), Windows Server, and VMware environments.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and TCP/IP networking preferred.
  • Prior experience in defence or government environments requiring security clearance is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
