We are seeking a talented and experienced Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing patient- and clinician-facing apps for our medical devices.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Mobile Apps for medical devices, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance professionals to deliver high-quality software products.
• Follow best practices for design of complex Android apps using Kotlin.
• Work closely with regulatory affairs and compliance teams to ensure software development processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into software development strategies to drive innovation.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience in Android Mobile App Development
• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the medical device industry would be an added advantage
• Proven experience developing Native Android apps using Kotlin
• Proven experience with the Android Bluetooth APIs preferred.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (ideally Couchbase) preferred.
• Thorough understanding of MVVM Design Pattern
• Strong understanding of security principles in Mobile Apps.
• Experience with the Android Bluetooth LE APIs preferred.
• Proven experience delivering quality Android application on Google Play Store and Google Play Console
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience from the healthcare or medical device industry would be an added advantage.
