Migration Business Analyst – Transact T24 Specialist

Role Purpose
The Migration Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in transformation initiatives, focusing on the migration of client, account, and transactional data into Temenos Transact T24. The BA will bridge business, data, and technology teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and auditable data transitions while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate data migration workshops with business users, SMEs, and IT teams to define data sources, transformation rules, cleansing logic, and acceptance criteria.
• Document all workshop outputs—including decisions, exceptions, issues, and dependencies—and obtain timely sign-offs from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed data mapping specifications between legacy systems and T24 entities (e.g., CUSTOMER, ACCOUNT, SAM, CONTRACT, POSITION, LEDGER, FEES & CHARGES, etc.).
• Oversee, review, and validate build activities performed by the migration development team and ensure deliverables conform to approved specifications.
• Develop, execute, and/or supervise test scenarios covering data extraction, transformation rules, FBF formatting, and load validations across T24 environments (DEV → UAT → PROD).
• Conduct reconciliation and gap analysis to verify correctness, completeness, and consistency of migrated data.
• Report, track, and revalidate defects collaboratively with developers, testers, and business partners.
• Prepare and maintain all required documentation: workshop summaries, mapping specifications, test scripts, evidence packs, and operational handover artefacts.
• Ensure adherence to Swiss Banking Act (BA) principles, data protection standards, and regulatory reporting requirements (FATCA, MiFID, CRS, AML/KYC).

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in banking IT projects, ideally within private banking or wealth management.
• Proven involvement in at least one T24 implementation or migration programme in a functional or business analyst capacity.
• Good working knowledge of Temenos Transact T24, including navigation (FI, DD), versioning (TVMM), workflows, and product structures.
• Hands‑on experience with data migration testing, reconciliation, validation techniques, and defect lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical skills with rigorous attention to detail and data quality.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, requirement elicitation, and conflict resolution.

Preferred Attributes

• Temenos certifications (e.g., TLC, TCCP) on Private Banking modules such as Securities, Derivatives, Structured Products, Fiduciary, Forex, Financial Reporting.
• Familiarity with Triple’A Plus.
• Working knowledge of jBASE, TAFC, SQL, or scripting languages for data validation.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools for documentation and task tracking.

Accountabilities

• Full ownership of migration analysis, workshop facilitation, and documentation deliverables.
• End‑to‑end responsibility for validating all outputs from migration developers through structured testing and reconciliation.
• Delivery of migration artefacts that meet audit, governance, and operational readiness standards.
